the kingdom rush series has a deserved reputation for high quality TD games, so if that appeals to you, you should like this. It is a bit annoying that you pay for the app and there are still heroes, towers, and campaigns that you have to pay for, especially to have to pay as much as they want; if I'm seeing things correctly, it would cost another $58 on top of the $7 for the app to unlock everything. That said, it's still a good game and worth playing.

I have all the Kingdom Rush games and this one is definitely the worst. With the initial purchase of the game only about half the game is available to you. So many heroes, towers, and campaign levels are locked behind very expensive paywalls (most heroes and towers cost as much as the game itself). The update system was lacking. Overall, this iteration was very lackluster and didn't feel like the devs put much effort into it. Very unfortunate, because I really loved the previous versions

Good game so far but has some pay items in game which i dont like. Maybe i havent progressed far enough yet but i think a game that requires purchase upfront shouldnt require character purchases. Those should be given by progression. Make skins or something purchaseable. Just feel a little ripped off for the price of the app because the in game purchase items seems like i didnt necessarily buy a full game.

Game starts fun, but eventually, there doesn't seem to be a way to three-star things anymore. Then it slowly gets more and more frantic until it's just not fun anymore. Tower placement is chaotic, and by the 5th so level, you are now managing 4 spawn points and two paths. Way too early given what you have access to. When I lost what I think was the 5th level I had had enough and uninstalled. Just play Bloons, it is better thought out by far.

There's an obnoxious bug I see every single time I play where my choices for heroes, upgrades, towers, and items purchased are not saved, so I'll start another level and none of my previous choices carried over. If you buy items after changing something such as heroes/towers/upgrades, your choices aren't saved. Same thing if you close the game afterwards, or do anything at all in the menus honestly! Only way it saves is if you play a stage immediately afterwards, or settings > main menu. Edited
