OMG stay away.... I paid for the full membership. it's pointless. everything you do in this app can be done in Google docs literally. I was editing an entire book section I've got going and when I was finished editing I was about to delete the old draft. well the damn app had moved the project I was working on over to the right and moved the edited version next to it. so I mistakenly clicked delete on the entire damn section. this app is not user friendly. Does what you need it to do, and uploads to your choice of several cloud servers, so you can access your work from anywhere. Word count, choice of background theme and quick formatting. It's ideal. I've tried several different writing programs. I've stuck with Jotterpad for years now. I've used it on computers, tablets, multiple smartphone OS. Great upgrades that don't cost much at all. Stop looking! This is the one.

Somewhere in the last updates the app has developed some serious issues: the settings when writing are no longer accessible. The settings on the top and bottom of the page when writing on a document are underneath the functions of the phone (ability to change the doc title are now under my wifi/data/etc, and the bottom settings are under my home/back/running apps buttons). They're unresponsive to touch and I can't seem to change settings for my phone or the app to fix this. Please address.

Update 2023: I can no longer support this app. I paid for the creative version which was lifetime. Now the app wants me to pay a monthly fee. Nope, not doing it. No way to restore previous purchase. From 2017: I spent a few days looking for an app that would export to RTF so I can share it with Scrivener on my PC, but was disappointed with what is out there. They were all too Microsoft Office like, i.e. bloated with too many options; or not enough options. I just bought the creative version

I like it. I did lose an entire entry, and maybe I could have gotten it back with snapshots, but I don't pay for anything. I just wanted the simple and free side of the app. I don't think you should have to worry about losing your work whether or not you pay for the app. I had it connected to a cloud account, but it still wiped out an entire entry. Everything else is great, though, and I can just rewrite the entry.
