I really enjoy playing this game but I have no idea how anyone manages to actually gain levels. if you don't win, you lose the amount of points in your hand from your active XP. I've had multiple games where I could never even lay an initial meld before someone else won it. I have gotten as high as 300xp (to get to level 2 you need 500) but then always end up losing back down to under 100xp. I don't want to be rewarded for losing, but losing XP when you lose takes the fun out of winning.

It's fine and dandy until someone leaves the game. Then a computer takes overfor them. They make a ridiculous amount of moves not humanly possible in the 30 seconds you get. Not figuratively, literally. To select multiple tiles, you have to tap and hold. They'll grab multiple tiles instantly. And it has an issue with disconnecting from internet. Most likely the reason computers take over for players so often. Edited

The game is well-optimized, but... the matchmaking is TERRIBLE! It makes me not want to play. As a level 1 I am constantly matched with level 20+ competitors and once had someone over level 40. I have yet to win a game and I've played for over 4 hours. No progression to me means no fun. Wondering if this is due to using the paid app because this didn't happen on the free one. Edited

Usually I don't pay attention to the reviews, especially for a game that I've played for years, but for once the reviews are correct. This game is stupid hard on easy mode, a place where you refresh your knowledge before playing online. The computer makes moves that no human could keep up with even with the timer set as low as 30 seconds. I will stick to tiles on a table from now on. Forget about contacting support and just unistall.

Fun game but computer always wins. I'm a pretty savvy player and know the rules and strategic components of the board version. When I play Pro level vs computer, I can only get within 2-3 tiles before one of the auto players goes out. Same pattern happens every time, at the end of a round, I'll have 3 or less tiles, I draw a tile, I figure out how to manipulate the board to go out and before it's my turn again, an auto player with more tiles than I have goes out, I just count that as a W now.
