I really love this app for my six year old daughter because it lets me build custom word lists for her weekly spelling words. I love that the developer is responsive, my only question is how can I reset the earned stars so that they can reuse the word lists? Edited

thanks for your review :-) to reset the stars: you clear the user history (in the user editor) or just create and use new user.

Paid to unlock everything, but then got a new tablet for my child because the old one broke. The "restore" button doesn't do anything, and there is zero support on the app. So know that if you ever want to transfer the app to another device you are SOL. Not happy

Hello, If the restore option doesn’t work, it might be because you purchased the paid upfront version, in which case you need to download that specific version. Alternatively, you might not be using the same Google Play account.

Ridiculous, they don't tell you that you have to pay to use the app, before downloading.. uninstalled.

Hello, we offer free stuff (all shapes, 8 letters, words and numbers) and if you like the app and want to unlock all letters, add your own words, and create printable worksheets, we ask for a one-time payment. The app does not display ads or collect personal data but we need to make a living like everybody. Thanks for your understanding.

This app has great features for early learning and teachers, specifically during distance learning. However, as a virtual teacher, I'm disappointed that the app hasn't done more to make it user friendly for students to use at home and teachers to collect data. Handwriting is one of the most challenging things to measure via distance learning. I would love for the app to have student log ins so my students can use it at home. I reached out to the company and was just told they don't offer that. Edited

Thanks for your review Keely - please understand that the kind of feature you mention (remote login for students) would make the app more expensive (subscriptions...) because it has a technical cost. We decided to offer a cheaper option (one-time payment) and allow people to export their data by themselves.
