This is a very handy app to have! Sometimes when I use "add to home screen," in my browser, the resulting link is to the site's homepage instead of the specific page or article I intended to save (which irritates me to no end). But with this Website Shortcut app, I can easily link to the page I want in about half a moment.

Needed to create links to websites in Android homepage folders; That don't get deleted when switching browsers. Tried 4 or 5 highly rated apps. This is simplest & perfectly gets the job done. The others had additional functions I don't need and their instructions were difficult to follow.

Why a dedicated URL shortcut maker when browsers do this already? Because my main browser, Firefox, has a bug that occasionally doesn't offer a homescreen shortcut for some sites. A setting to enable opening links with a browser other than the default would be nice. No dark theme. Consumes 400kb of storage, not 99kb as advertised. Edited

Love the simplicity of this app. Works brillianty and does exactly what it's ment to. Would be nice to have a option to chose icons for the shortcut and a option to synce the links(shortcuts) via the app across other devices with the app.

Website shortcut maker. While good for when you know the address, and faster than opening up your browser; There's no way to customize the shown icon and no dark mode within the app itself. Edited
