Love the games by this dev! these are like old style computer games which cost a lot so devs put great care into them, and enough content you felt you got your money's worth. The game map shows 89 areas. Art is beautiful, very detailed. I saw NO bugs(!) Don't worry about hints, just keep going until you can't, then revisit rooms and poke around till you find what you missed. The clues often come way after/before the puzzle, but each by themselves is not that hard. it's challenging in a fun way.

Overall a decent game. (-1 Star) Suffers from the problem where there isn't enough indication that something should\could be clicked on. So a chunk of the game is spent just randomly clicking around on scenes to make sure that you weren't supposed to click on a rock that had an item you needed. (-1 star) Fast Travel and (-1 star) hints disabled unless you shell out more money. (Think you bought a complete game? Nope, need to shell out more for a couple basic features.)

The game was fun yet frustrating going round and round and back and forth in all the areas that are eventually found. How would one know to look for an item way up in a tree that requires a long pole to get? The game seems like it was set up so people have to spend the money for clues in order to complete it. Not the puzzles, they were pretty straightforward and fun. Nice graphics and well thought out layout. The flying ship was a nice touch.

Too much travel and unrelated clues. Without hints or a walkthrough, I don't see how this game is playable. You have to travel to a far off place to get an object that doesn't make sense why it is there, and then go to a completely different area to use it. For example, the pitchfork in the desert when you need to use it for the hay in the stable (pitchfork-hay relationship, ok), and a key for a boat door was someplace completely unrelated. Other items seem to have zero association.

Encore! I love all the Syntaxity games and Enchanter quickly became my favorite. There are so many puzzles and beautifully crafted locations; it's a feast for the eye & mind. Yes, the back & forth travel is tedious, but I can't fault the devs on that minor point. And the hints really aren't necessary-- Just keep clicking, trying and rethinking.. you'll suss it eventually. Nicely done! Edited
