Overall, it was just ok. I love all Syntaxity games and have played each one 2-3 times. I was really excited about a new game and have been waiting for a while. The graphics and sound effects in this game are great. The gameplay/puzzles are underwhelming. super easy, very obvious, and even boring. The game felt very short in length as well. It was definitely a disappointment for me, not terrible, but definitely not great.

Don't usually write reviews but I don't usually pay for games either. I am a fan of these developers but this is so lazy. It acts like it's unique but barely has anything to show. Each room has one or maybe two things to interact with and each puzzle is ripped straight from their other games. 50% of the game is dialog which is rewritten from the original book but because these guys aren't writers it is pretty bad. I love these guys usually but I don't want to pay for dialog and ai imagery. Edited

Syntaxity did put their latest game to a higher level. Many characters, no longer a world where everyone has left. Places change as you re-visit them later in the story. I appreciate all these new elements. And improved system of hints prevents its mindless abuse what I like so much. My family always waits for new titles from this company, we buy them immediately. Thank you for your review! You explained so well what we were aiming to achieve in this game! Although it is similar to our other adventure games, this one had more characters and inherently more life among the landscapes. Along with that comes much more dialog and story.

An okay adventure puzzle from the developers. Not one of their best, despite the nice graphics. One or two puzzles that required a little thought, but mostly easy and a tad too short for the price.
