It's an interesting story concept, and I think with some UI/QoL changes, could be more fun. It's a game with the same spirit as tower defense or lemmings in that you're placing an entity to affect a steady stream of identical ai figures. The issue I have is that it's far too much trial and error to be fun. The tutorial explains a little bit, but not enough about the mechanics. I'll stick around a bit through the growing pains to see if it gets updated, but it's kind of lacking right now. Edited

I installed after reading all the bad reviews.. it's really not as bad as what everyone is saying here... I actually think it's a nice tight little strategy game. You need to place buildings in economic order to build cash and expand fast enough to beat the levels. There is an element of needing to see levels before beating them, but the game has tools that support it. You can rewind single rounds, and see your current score vs your personal best to see if you're pacing better. Great Game. Edited

Interesting twist on a tower defense game but really needs better mechanic expalantions, notably how towers/stores interact with mob/customer types. At least I am assuming that is the case as the tutorial vaguely hinted at such but this ultra minimalistic design is entirely unintuitive and simply frustrates, the colors and shapes make little sense and I honestly can't tell on any given level why one strategy worked or not. I do like the option of restarting at checkpoints in each level though. Edited

Great music, interesting design, but for a puzzle game it's really unintuitive. You have to balance the speed of customer entrance vs the speed of stores where they go to shop. But you lack the stats of customer entrance vs shopping rate to make any form of strategy (what entrance to match with what store). So most of the time it's trail and error where you have no clue what you're doing and you lose the level.

pretty fun game, but prepare for a lot of trial and error. 5 ⭐ s Edit: I do wish it was more clear the exact emission rate of each entrance (for example, green means one dupe per second) I also wish it was more obvious that the ideal progression is doing level 1 of all the maps and then trying the second levels. I got really frustrated when I couldn't finish level 3 of Sanzu cause I thought the level 1 of the next map would be even harder. Dropping to 3⭐s Edited
