This is a fantastic app! I like the puzzles, the ELO scoring, the ability to enter 'analysis' mode after the puzzle is solved, the ability to continue the game and see how my thinking compares to the computer-determined best move (lol - sometimes my move would be horrible), etc. I started with the free version and am happy to support the devs by upgrading to the pro version.

I wish I liked this app more. Often there is more than one logical solution and no reason for why one is chosen over the other. Frustrating. Revision: So after further consideration, I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars. I would find it helpful if there a short hint for each puzzle, such as "Find best move" or "Mate in 3". Sometimes I can find a mate in 3 but the puzzle won't take that because it's looking for a pin or fork. Still, the app is well worth the price to upgrade to pro. Edited

Hi. Thanks for your feedback. Did you try to play your moves and see the engine evaluation and refutation for the moves that were not considered in the puzzle solution?

Custom puzzle trainer with few cons. The advantage of this app is that you can add custom pgn files to make your own custom chess puzzle app with needed puzzles only. But it has few cons. Puzzles are selected randomly and that too repeats without going through all puzzles in the pgn file with no indication of progress like how many more left in the list. It uses old chess engine thus analysis is not at all reliable. Need to use another app like chess analysis pro to get accurate moves.

Mostly amazing and fun puzzles! That being said I've run into a few puzzles that definitely seem off and where the computer moves didn't make any sense to me. Mostly awesome though, I've played a lot of these puzzles and they almost all seem really legit

This is a truly masterful app. -no ads -offline -can be played casually (if you don't care about your elo) -deep puzzles that teach you to think ahead and be patient. -easy puzzles to learn your combinations or even just understand how pieces move Play it how you want it. Be serious or casual. Learn or de-stress. This is an excellent app to keep your mind sharp during idle times of the day.
