It is a fun game to kill time, but lately the ads are getting ridiculous, a thirty second ad, then when you click the X, moves to a static screed for 15 seconds before another X, here you either miss the X and it opens the store or it closes it to show another still ad for the same thing. Some ads can take almost two minutes to get through before playing.

Advertising is awful and inappropriate for children - ads about 'orgasm apps' for example. Ironically, for a word game, the UI has spelling mistakes. Recommend to install on a device with no network access. The reason for two stars is that it is a good passive game, though I've almost completed it. The paid version requires a subscription - ludicrous!

(1) Constant notifications that I don't have internet access when I can access any other website; (2) Adjustments to average score, number of words, and other data that is essential to playing the game, are very rare. It took 3 months for my scores to be adjusted last time. After 4+ years of consistent play, it's a real turnoff that even though my scores have improved greatly over time, it takes many months for that improvement to be fully reflected in my average score and other data. The mobile app freezes every time, saying cloud sync errors or no internet connection...while there's no problem with other games in same time span with any errors such as this. The internet is connected when it happens. Even if I restart the game or restart my phone. same problem every time. Only happens on the mobile app version. This doesn't happen on the PC version. I'm uninstalling the mobile app, just too frustrating and a waste of time.

All of a sudden the game doesn't load the multiplayer board. The board does work on other modes like adventure, but I only play for the multiplayer so it's no longer playable. Uninstalled and reinstalled but same thing.. I even tried on an older device and the board didn't load. It's a fun past time, but too many glitches. Edited
