The game has a major issue. Your opponent can steal the ball relatively easily yet you have no means to "juke" them. Your opponent can steal the ball mid-pass as well. So if you end up being paired with someone who is constantly on you, you really can't get around it unless they mess up. Would be nice if your characters with high agility stat (or something) could prevent steals from opponents with inferior stats. I have played a few matches where my entire team was better but we couldn't score.

I play a basketball game called streetball allstar and it's really fun but I kept losing because it's very competitive most of the time. I found mini basketball thinking it would be trash, but epic rarity characters are pretty good, and you can purchase in the shop the first day for no real money. I highly recommend passing time. It has a leaderboard, so I don't think it's an offline game. However, it's very easy. (note it's still my first day)

Definitely not playing against other humans as advertised. Playing against "better" teams makes your players perform worse rather than giving you tougher competition. Tons of rubberbanding helps trailing teams close the gap. Players on both teams stand around and watch missed shots go out of bounds rather than attempt to rebound. Grinding takes forever and rewards aren't worthwhile. Setting up and hitting open looks is satisfying but rarely happens. Fine way to waste time but nothing more. Edited

The game is actually pretty fun. The problem is the matchmaking! If one is rated 200, shouldn't have to play a 250+ team. Really shouldn't have to play anyone above 225 or less. These unfair match-ups ruin the game. So only 3 stars until the algorithm is fixed. I do have to say Mini Baseball inspired me to download the collection of Mini Sports games. All of them are fun!! the developers absolutely ruined it by making the player stat and upgrade system completely useless/pointless. they also clearly rig the game so that if the algorithm picks up that your winning to much it will kick in so no matter how good you are or your team is there is nothing you can do but watch the ai beat you. even if your team is triple the stats or more of your opponents the ai players will still be faster, pass & shoot better and steal the ball always. you'll always miss your shots to.
