Great potential but few fundamental problems number one. It could not save to other folders outside of the picture directory. I need it and wanted to overwrite MYY original files because they are backed up and I wanted to resize them instead of deleting them but this application could not select that folder. I think it's a limitation of the application and that the operating system

It works in an annoying way. After resizing and saving. It saved them to it's OWN folder. It won't save to the original folder/location it got the picture from. I do product reviews from my Cubot KingKong Star phone. It has a sic 104M main camera. At the lowest setting it produces 10+ Mb size images. Both Temu and AliExpress can't use the native photo size of the KKS. Once resized using this, it can't find them either. I have to upload to my Google drive then download to insert. 😡

4.5 stars. I like this app. Small download size, and it gets the job done. I compared it to another photo resizer by farluner (8mb download) and this one had better resolution with a smaller final file size. A couple of suggestions to make it even better: 1) Need option to rename resized photo. 2) Need option to have default output directory on SD card. At the moment, you can only choose/create a directory on the internal storage drive. Edited

Notice the reviews tend to be high or low and the ones that are actual reviews are the high ones. The app is small in size and does a quick job of reducing the image to make reasonable to email. It also let's you trim the file is you want and include it omit exif data. It provides a list of formats to reduce size which at first I found a bit confusing, but they are all the same aspect ratio as orig in decending order of file size. The first or second choices give me what I want.

Thanks! Thanks for providing a free app that gets top marks for: Ad free. Apparently no data collected. Doesn't take up too much space. Simple and very effective in operation ( amazing compression with sharp image retained). Three cheers for a public benefactor!
