Easily the best metronome I've found. The display shows a circle broken up into as many segments as there are beats in the bar. As well as the click, the segment stays alight for that beat - so to play an offbeat note it's after the click but while the relevant segment is still lit up.App is slow to open, though. Edited

The free version works great, but I can't give the app more than one star because of its predatory subscription pricing. They want to bill you $7.99 a WEEK for the premium version of a metronome app. That's right. $31.96 a month to keep time with anything more than a wood block or basic cymbal sound. I guess maybe they're hoping you'll miss the "weekly" part and just assume it's a monthly subscription?

This is the best free metronome app by far. I downloaded at least 5 different ones looking for a good 3/4 or 4/4 beat to start playing my new cajon. The app also provides different key notes and 2 different sounds to choose from. The paid version offers more but the free version has everything I was looking for.

It's sooooo bad 👎 it keeps going off beat, and the game is just impossible to get a 100%!!!

Hi :) Thanks for letting us know! Sorry this happened. Could you please first try contacting us through the 'contact' section of the app? If that's not possible, please send a video of the issue by email at
[email protected]. We'll investigate. Feel free to update your review if you still need help. Thanks, best Mau

Weird that the click stops below 33 bpm, otherwise pretty good...
