I tried using it with my Zoom U-44 using the USB connection on my phone. Although it shows microphone inputs 3+4 as input options when recording, it did not actually record any audio from those inputs. It was able to record inputs 1+2 from the Zoom U-44, however. It also lacks options to export to popular online music sharing platforms (soundcloud, bandcamp...) which is disappointing. I hope they continue to develop this. Edited

Upgrading from 1 to 3 stars. FINALLY figured out how to hear the effects while recording. Sounds good if you're okay with being limited to Fender-only effects, which aren't bad. I was able to record straight off of my pedal board and it sounded dead-on. I wish it would share & export files in WAV or M4A, instead of only a DAW file. Would be 5 stars if it did. Edited

You should be able to hear this - do you have the global monitoring button selected at the top of the track headers? Do you have an interface connected (e.g. Fender Link I/O), and if so, check the blend dial and overall volume.
You can export a mixdown of the whole session or the loop range as wav, FLAC or mp3.

Fender deserves a medal for this! Now, they simply have to change nothing forever. And Fender should earn another medal every year they leave the app alone. This app seems like the perfect answer to all the built-to-fail proprietary trash out there! This app is a real gracious work of mercy! God bless Fender! P.S. Don't try to "improve" perfection. PLEASE walk away proudly. You have conquered. You have nobly served your fellow musicians. You have reached perfect irreducible complexity.

Great mobile DAW/multi-track experience so far. It is geared towards gutiar and bass with no midi support that I see. Guitar effects are great! But it is simple, easy to use, and most importantly latency has not been an issue so far. Add in midi with a few basic virtual instruments and it would be amazing.

The manual advises you not to record and playback with the same device, but it is impossible to do so. You either have to record and monitor with the built in phone speaker or, record and monitor with headphones. As there is no option for metronome to be active visually instead of sonically, any track you record will also record a loud metronome. I was pretty excited for this app, as it seems like iOS gets all the fun, but it's not significantly more useful than the stock android recorder. Yet.

Hi, this is maybe a misunderstanding - you can select input and output individually for recording and playback on Android. Go to Audio Setup in the Application Menu to make your choices
