Exactly what you would expect from a management sim from 2015: great for the time, not as much today. Ads are not optional and you can sometimes get asked to watch an ad for in-game rewards, then have to watch one anyway if you say no. (Huge no-no for any game). Gameplay is a bit repetitive but bosses and the various tile types help. Game is also ridiculously unbalanced (bloonjitsu and spectre obliterate everything) Edited

this game goes from super easy to super hard with nothing in between. progression is super slow and you have to wait days to do one or two levels because how hard they get so fast, while you are stuck waiting to upgrade. this game is really a waste of time. glad its a freemium game. i wouldn't have paid money for this. of course thats probably why it goes from 0 - 100 impossible difficulty so fast while you are stuck waiting hours or longer for "upgrades" lol. they want you to pay to progress.

it's like BTD 5, but it takes longer and is more restrictive. In BTD5, you get XP and unlock towers and upgrades through playing and using them. Earning cash in levels lets you place/upgrade them. Simple. Now, you need XP, power, money and Real time to unlock and research for every individual tower you want to place in a level in addition to the things you do in TD5. It's just Tower Defence 5, with extra hours of administration between levels.

Absolute classic. For anyone struggling with ads, just turn off your Wi-Fi, you only need that on for when you're doing contested territory, or looking to launch an attack at some random. This is a game of patience though, you can't just speedrun it unless you're constantly capturing land, because upgrades take a long time sometimes. One benefit of the Phone version is you can watch ads to speed things up, on the PC you are forced to pay balloon Stones. Here you can do either. 10/10, I recommen.

I haven't been able to visit my friends cities for years. I used to enjoy that more than what is left. Also, the level cap is 40 & you have more land available than needed to reach the level cap. Which I guess is a good & bad thing at the same time. I just noticed that the last update was in 2020. That might be why I can't visit my friends cities anymore. I recently came out of pacifist mode and was immediately attacked eight times. The game claims when in pacifist mode you can't be attacked. Edited
