It's worth the cost. I play this whenever I'm bored, and once you learn a few things, most characters become easy and fun. I am constantly playing this and have gotten way past my money's worth. It's so fun and diverse with its people and mechanics I would completely recommend, although i am still wishing for a way to create your own characters once you finish enough personal quests to have fun with whatever build you want... now can I leave solitary Edited

Its been years since any update that added content. This game hasnt changed at all in over 3 years, besides a fix here and there. At one point we were promised a big update, including an update with some form of character creation. Its been over 2 years, that never came. At this point, I can only assume the game is abandoned. The game itself is actually 4 stars, but the false promises of the dev brings it down 2. Its a shame, cause the game has amazing potential for further content updates.

Replayability is through the roof due to the amount of inmates with their own stats and personal goals, as well as the variety of playstyles and self-inserted challenges you can choose, and the game's mature themes are very subdued. I totally didn't make this review because Vic Mickey threatened to put me in solitary if I didn't, by the way.

Good, but not great. It mostly suffers from repetition you have basically 4 phases in a day, and do the same thing. Short terms are better to explore the different prisoners. Give us more to do would be cool. Haven't escaped yet, but I'm guessing it's game over if you do. Might be kinda fun to have an expansion to fight urges to not go back to prison or something.

Originally this game seems fun and fresh. However after a few attempted playthroughs, it is anything but. The game brags about its lack of transactions...which is odd since the game feels and plays like a pay to win. It's nearly impossible with all but very few to drop the soap in showers. This knocks off a third of all your energy bars. One wrong shower trip and recovering is nearly impossible. Given how every action takes one hour, there just isn't enough time to do the right things without a guide. And then, what's the point? Either go pay to win, or take the pay to win aspect out of the game.
