This is not a game that is necessary easy, but it's easy to get into. This isn't a game that gives you 'steering' and a 'press both to brake' control mechanism. You are in control of heavy machinery and feel like it. Yes, there are assists. Yes, there are cars that handle better. Yes, there's a free roam for practice. But practicing any art requires occasional failure. If you feel like everything's in control, you're not going fast enough. This game embodies that perfectly. Worth the money.

I really like this game. However, my main issue with it is the controls. The default size of the buttons is too small to be accirate, and the lack of a more nuanced steerimg method (ex. Tilt or swipe steering) makes the game unnecessarily difficult. I will definitely update my review to 5 stars if more customizable controls and layouts (mainly the ability to arrange and resize the buttons) are added. Edited

Great game, sloppy port, while there is controller support it's *very* bare bones. You can't even navigate the menus with a controller. Just like all the other reviews say, the game is terribly optimized, looks pretty underwhelming in max graphics, overheats my phone (snapdragon 865), and won't even hold a constant 30fps. This port needs more time and a lower price Edited

Overall the game plays nicely on my device, graphics are simple and the focus is on the racing. I am however disappointed that there doesn't seem to be any controller support as racing games should all support that. Update: The controller issue seems to be with my phone and some app causing the conflict. Other apps that used to work with the controller now don't, so I don't think the controller issue is with Art of Rally. Updated to four stars. Edited

I was caught off guard by the "arcadey" and oh boy this is the most realistic rally racing game on mobile i have ever played (even better than Rush Rally 3). I always play with 0% assist, 0% abs and the group 2 cars have a very period correct driving style, it makes me actually fear the consequences of going a little too fast, what an amazinf game!
