Great app but I don't like the recent update that makes it hard to download a book for offline reading. I liked the manual option to download. Occasionally, if I lose cell service and the book stops playing, the next time I open the app, the book begins from the beginning. I think this is because the app uses data to save your bookmark??? Other than those minor gripes, this app is great and Kris me awake on my commute!

Fast and easy to check out library books, and if you have cards from multiple libraries it will check them all when you search. I appreciate the hold deferral option; no more having them all ready at the same time!! Notifications do seem to be broken right now. They used to work perfectly, but now the app tells me I don't have them on no matter how many times I try to set them, and even though the permissions are allowed in my phone settings. Edited

This app is a great resource! I had eyebsurgery and wanted to try audio books- I've listened to 8 in a month! All you need is a library card and you get access to free ebooks and audio books. The functionality is great too- holds on books that you can delay, a two lane system for waiting lists, speed controls for audio, tags, basically all you would need.

This app is great for most things, but the audio player needs a lot of help. I share Libby with my family, and Libby tries to be smart and sync your audiobook location. So if multiple people are listening to the same audiobook, there is a high chance that you lose your place. It is so annoying and infuriating. Overdrive had the best features, and Libby has ruined everything.

I'm one of those who doesn't consider listening to a book "reading a book," but sometimes life gets too busy to sit and read an entire book. Listening is convenient and enjoyable. I love this service! (It's also great for improving comprehension when reading higher lexile books. Having Libby playing along as I read increases my understanding and reading retention.)
