The provide clear and concise instructions for canceling a subscription upon sign-up. Go to settings, and click cancel subscription. There is no option in settings to cancel, nor under any menu in settings on the website nor the app. Now I've entered an immediate fight with Lee enterprises seconds after purchasing. Can't say enough bad things about them, but the quality of the Pantagraph and it's new parent company are already well known in my community.

Just the kind of quality I've come to expect from the Pantagraph. I opened the app and tapped on a headline. A prestitial ad opens, but the timer never counts down, and tapping "back" after the ad finishes has no effect. I killed the app and tried again with the same results. I was glad to see that the app now supports subscriptions, but that doesn't matter if you CAN'T READ THE STORIES.

I like the app, but within the past 2 weeks i have been getting an extraordinary amount of "breaking news" or notifications, and there is no way to turn it off... im about to delete the app just because of that. I want my local newspaper and i want breaking news, but i dont need to hear about every high school win Edited

It's not bad until it stops loading pages and send you to a " in order to continue please pay a unnecessary but necessary small phenomenal fee to keep reading informative topics about what'd going down I the neighborhood/world" All news should be free when it comes to apps.... paper too but they do use ink so there's that... but eh what do I know...

I used to enjoy this app due to it's free, although limited stories. The latest version requires a subscription. I refuse. I would rather check local news on local TV stations' apps than pay for this.
