Until recently this was a brilliant app and worked perfectly. Convenient, quick, and effective. Then payment verification was introduced and it just won't work. The verification request goes to the bank successfully, and can be authorised correctly, but this app then insists its been declined. Unfortunately Pay By Phone seem insistent that its not their problem but its happening with multiple different banks and is now preventing me from using the app (and paying their commission!).

I can't wait for the National Parking Scheme to get set up, because instead of having dozens of apps to pay for parking you'll be able to choose one and pay for all your parking around the country from one app. And when it's time to choose an app, this will NOT be the one I choose! Changed car recently, put personal plate on, DVLA confirmation instantly sent to me, yet a full month later PayByPhone still hasn't updated their data and I can't add my new car, so I can't use it to park!

6 years later, no improvement. nice from 2019 fine. could use some better implementation. doesn't seem to know the norms of where I'm parking (ie everyone at the commuter lot parks for the day... default me to a 1 day park). maybe even learn where i park or check where i am and make an intelligent guess where i could be parking. it works though. Useful, but can be very slow when it comes to selecting time period to park - Keyboard takes a while to appear on screen when trying to select no.hrs! Keyboard issue worse 8/11/24, so used a carpark machine (one of them already out of order!). Today(4/6/25), app kept either declining card or stating that it was unable to trace my verification with bank, nor did force stopping help! - success with different app.Reduced marking to "☆" & uninstalling. You can only have up to 5 vehicles. It becomes a chore for people who travel and rent cars frequently. Edit: Response based on the developer comment. * Deleting a vehicle, adding a new one, and paying for parking is pretty inconvenient. Why set an arbitrary number of 5? Is there a restriction on how much data you can return in the API? This number seems very small. * The link you provided does not work. It shows an error page. Edited
