I just got a subscription to Peacock. The only problem I have is when I'm watching on my Xbox and I have a show or movie paused, it doesn't dim the screen. Any other streaming app dims the screen on my Xbox. I checked the console settings, and it's turned on. It would be nice if this app dimmed the screen when a movie or show has been on pause to protect my TV screen. Another thing is I wish it had an icon on shows and movies that had been watched. That way it shows what has been watched. Edited

I discovered that, at least for movies, even the PREMIUM tier of Peacock's service displays un-skippable advertisements. I had to wait for more than three minutes (190 seconds) of ads before starting a movie, and then only about 1/3 of the way through the movie, mid-way through a scene, the movie was interrupted for another 190 seconds of unskippable ads. That's absolutely unacceptable for the premium tier on a streaming service. Don't give them your money.

The app is pretty good. It has a couple of annoying issues. The one that annoys me enough to knock stars off the rating is that if I miss a couple minutes of a show and an ad plays I can't go back to a minute before the ads without having to watch ads all over again. It's not right to make you re-watch ads to rewind back a couple of minutes. I can see if I started it all over again, but that's not the case. It feels sneaky to me.

App buffers constantly. I thought it was my dated Chromebook, but my Galaxy S24 buffers just as much. If my PS4 was any indication, things just aren't looking good for this streaming service. Like others have said, the ability to turn off auto-play would be awesome. Gave an extra star for the content, but otherwise the Android app in general deserves just one star at this time.

horrible apple. pay for it, still have to watch adds. not only that I can't watch a single movie without it disconnecting from my chromecast at least 10 times. its so frustrating. and there is literally no point to having it. canceling any bit of subscription/money paid to this streaming service. Will not be recommending it to anyone I know.
