The story is interesting but plays by itself, you can barely guess what of your choices are relevant in endless dialogues that, they say, would determine the distinctive traits of your character. And that's the whole game, not just the character creation part. I would rather choose my clan and ability scores like you do in most rpg games, like, let's say, the classic Vampire: The Masquerade

Must say, it's short and kinda not much ways you can try.. of you choose wrong answer, it's - death and gamesave will not help... Story itself not bad, but kinda naive a bit, maybe. Upd: I'm finished it from 2nd try. I only died in beginning. Edited

Hello Alexander! Indeed, Shadows of New York offers a story in which your choices shape Julia's personality and ultimately, will allow you to solve the murder case or not. A tip for you: just act like a Lasombra member would!

so far better than I expected. I died quite quickly, which made me happy to know that my choices can actually kill me. I'm still early in the game though. music, characters, and atmosphere all really come together to bring the game life. main character has an actual personality of their own, which is also refreshing.

These are horrible. The storylines are too short, and same as the last you're shoved from plot to plot with very little autonomy in your character. In fact in this game you get to play they character THEY choose. They don't even let you build a coterie as in the last game. This is a joke, paid games should reach a threshold of playability before being able to cjarge for their garbage.

just started it, but beyond disappointed it did not continue from comedies, and allow me to continue my character. Find it hard to have motivation to play this at all because of it.
