Summoner Wars is a fantastic tactical card game where every decision matters. Do you reinforce your backline to protect your summoner? Or do you play that card in a forward position to keep the pressure on the enemy? The limited moves and attacks leads to hard choices trying to maximize how much damage you can do while not exposing your summoner to multiple attacks in return. Each faction utilizes different special abilities that, even after dozens of games with them, you'll still be learning.

The game is great, and I like the digital implementation. Used to work really well. I just started a subscription since I'm curious about some of the factions and wanted to play-test about. However, something must have happened since last I subscribed, because now the game is extremely sluggish, and every single match against the AI ends in the game getting stuck. Very disappointed. Hope that this gets addressed, but in the meanwhile I will cancel my subscription.

Great! Would love option to add friend to make creating new private games easier and quicker. Don't need chat. It works great as is outside of occasional glitches. App was so good I spent a grip on physical copies.

Great board game and online app too. I've been playing since the first edition in 2012. Extremely happy I can now play on the go whenever I have a couple of minutes to spare.

Enjoying the game so far. I can't buy the physical copy yet so this is a good alternative for now. I'm mainly playing single player to pass the time, and my main issue is everything takes so long. The bot takes a lot of time every move. The buttons take a while before they work. The animations are slow and unskipable. Hopefully these get fixed.
