I HAD loved this game. Beat the base game and was playing through NG+. Until you all Introduced the online aspect of the game. Now every time I load up the game, after about 4 seconds of "game play" the game crashes. This happens every time now. Edited

Beautiful game, poorly optimized controls for mobile. While I'm sure after a while you can get used to the controls and figure out a way to make it work, the directional attack is a small virtual joystick that frequently attacks in the wrong direction at first. If they made it an 8 way virtual D-pad or tapping to attack in the direction you're moving, that'd be head and shoulders above their current scheme.

Great game, but be prepared for frustration. If you change to a different app to check a text, there is a 25% chance the game will restart and lose any progress you've made on a run. The same goes for putting your phone in your pocket. Don't start a run unless you have time to see it through to the end. EDIT: sorry dev, not accurate. I swipe to a text then back to the game and it restarts and every upgrade, gold, and xp I earned on the run is gone. Edited

Hi! Autosaves occur when returning to the Bergsons' house, purchasing upgrades, or adjusting controls settings. Since there are no mid-level checkpoints, progress only saves at the game hub. If you die or quit the game before, you retain gold and XP, but you will have to restart the level again.

I see an android port, and I buy an android port. Touch screen controls were not doable for me. With a controller, it's great! Awesome game! Only issue so far is, I have no info button on gallileo g8+, so I had to swipe the touch screen and hit the back button to level up. The minus button on the g8+ can't be re-mapped to the info button as far as I can tell Edit: The info button to get to the skill menu works now! This is such a great game! I'm so glad to see amazing android ports like this! Edited

There's a lot to like about Children of Morta. Nice graphics, great voice acting, creative ideas and some charm. But it is severely held back by awful controls. I'm unable to activate relics because the game can't detect the input instead of the joystick, and the attack stick constantly attacks in the wrong direction and works terribly (especially for melee). If this was fixed it would immediately be one of the best android games available. Until this is fixed I can't see myself playing more. Edited
