Unfortunately the interface with chargers and electricity providers is very poor. The app constantly has problems (e.g. sync is delayed by minutes vs the Polestar app, does not sync with energy provider, etc.). The service cannot be trusted and is far from the ideal of "plug in and let the tech do the work". Smart charging (which makes a massive difference to charging costs) is unreliable and performs poorly. And then there's waking up in the morning and finding the car didn't charge.

I have very little faith in this app. it constantly switches power on and of during of peak hours and does not charge the car to the designated requested power. it also tries to charge the car during on peak hours when there is enough time to charge the car in off peak hours. unfortunately without the app I only get 5h of off peak hours and at a higher rate. The app in its current state is garbage and just one more added problem to charging electric vehicles. manual more reliable and cheaper.

This app is not at all very good. I've tried to use it to set up smart charging and a lot of the time the app doesn't even think it's plugged in. We have a Zaptec charger and the charger and the car seem to know it's plugged in so why doesn't this app. Come on Polestar get this sorted!!

Since the last update it thinks my car isn't plugged in even though the car and charger know that it is. Often allows my Polestar 2 to charge outside the Octopus schedule, costing me full rates for the electricity. Hopeless. Edited

absolute rubbish serves no useful purpose other than adding another software layer that results in failure and massive cost implications charging at full rate despite giving the impression that it's SMART CHARGING. NO ITS NOT. NEEDS SORTING OR TAKING OUT OF THE SMART CHARGING
