Super emergency scanner app! Liked it so much, spent $3.49 for pro version. (If am on exterior patrol and vulnerable, filters out ads so cover won't be blown.) Get uninterrupted access to city/county police, etc. Officers need to work on radio protocol and dispatchers on enunciation, but it's fun to monitor. No complaints. Also, reception is FAR better than my analog hand-held Bearcat scanner! Only caveat is apparent 2-minute delay from real-time, but transmissions are from volunteer operators. Edited

Needed an edit on this review. Still sucks though. When I select my "favorite channel", it says "no connection". I have to select it through the menus. Probably why they don't have a free trial... because this app sucks as much as the free ones. Also no "squelch" on the channel I use most frequently so it always plays a background noise while on. Maybe not the fault of the app, or maybe is. IDK. Pick another app that you can at least do a trial on. Don't waste $3.50 like I did. Edited

Thanks for informing us of this issue. There was an issue with some police channel urls changing causing the saved favorites to contain a bad url. This issue is now corrected in an updated. It also effected the channels listed in the last played page. We do have a free version supported with ads if you prefer.

Awesome app. Works so perfectly and keeps me aware of the surroundings. Very easy to navigate. I like it especially the video showing police body cam footage which is so cool. On top of this, there is no annoying Ads. I love it and would recommend anyone to download if you want something easy and user friendly! Edited

Well...i paid for this scanner. Most other free scanners actually catch the scanner before this one tho. And on top of that after paying i couldnt even use it offline. So its slow and youre paying for something that works better in the free version. Kind of want a refund.

Sorry about this issue. The feeds are live feeds and are played online through the internet only. Unlike other apps we do have a built in recorder feature that allows you to record any feed for offline listening.

App was working for my local EMS then stopped. I purchased the 2.0 Pro thinking that would help but still couldn't pick up locals that I used to get. The website listed in Google Play comes back IP address could not be found. An email to the listed address was returned as non deliverable. Who isvGoogle Play sending our money to?
