There is just one beginner lesson, and guess what, they already expect you to know Lao script for the lesson quiz. Preposterous.

I'm sorry you weren't able to spend enough time with the app to see its capabilities. The Lao course has a free daily lesson in 3 skill levels, and free lessons in each level (Core Vocab., etc.). There are a variety of quiz types, which are optional. You can focus instead on the audio lessons & pronunciation analysis if you only want to speak.
