Original Post - June 24, 2015 I like the layout, look and feel, but see no compelling reason to upgrade. I would have preferred keeping QGET in this app. But the biggest missing feature is the lack of volume decryption. I would really love to see that in this app or in Qfile. Update - October 2, 2018 I see Volume Decryption is now present in the app, but it doesn't work? Does it only support an all lower-case password or something?!?

2-25-20...Getting better! Ability to apply NAS app updates etc is a useful addition. Still a bit clunky and need improvements in log viewing and actions from logs. 8-1-2019... STILL NO MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONALITY! 3-1-2019... Still no real management functionality. This falls short like many QNAP apps. Very disappointing. 1-7-2018...It should not be named q"manager". It's really only a monitoring app except for the ability to turn installed apps on & off. But that's it. Disappointing.

"wake on lan" function on qmanager worked only once for my QuTS Hero 1288x, then stopped working. What a shame... However, the "wake on lan" works on the qfinder pro. But the qfinder doesn't support Android! In summary, i don't have "wake on lan" app to wake up my qnap 1288x from using Android !!! What a shame to qnap... Yes of course I always have my vpn client running on my Android mobile phone. The WOL of the qmanager only worked once and that's all.... Qfinder pro doesn't support Android. Edited

An app that allows you to peak into the NAS and only accomplish a few things. It's a very light manager.

After the latest update (8 May 2025), I can no longer login into my NAS via this app. Works fine via the browser. Something is broken! 😠
