was great, then they changed the whole app to portrait and now it's hardly playable. they did all that work to fix a minor problem everyone had. chat had wide keyboard layout. all they needed to do was allow it to auto rotate in chat view. problem solved. now there's a ton of bugs, new found every day. you can't zoom out enough to get the width you need and they forced everyone onto portrait mode by giving you extra hard to obtain rewards to try it out without giving you the ability to go back. It's not a zombie shooter, you do that a tad in the beginning and then it's a side activity which ends quickly. This is more of an idle city building war game. Pay to play (obviously) but you can still enjoy it without spending money. This does add on time required to do stuff but still doable. You do hit the point where things start taking days to upgrade so it hits a dragging spot but they are generous with speed ups, bonus events for extra supplies and equipment. Edited

This is a fairly high-quality game. For fast success, it's heavy on "pay to play," but with patience, you are able to advance and grow. The missing two stars (only 3 out of 5) are due to non-intuitive aspects where there is no way to figure out what you're supposed to do. There are several events and screens where you are allowed or prompted to do something, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do or how, and there are no instructions or FAQ sections to learn.

buggy. lost a bunch of buildings and set me back week of building. no customer support. don't think I'm going to continue here. anyway game progress slows immensely after the quick initial levels update: I uninstalled the game and then reinstalled it again. nothing. now the full game is lost. waste of time and money . update2: I messaged in game support, it's a bot. there is no person to help Edited

Game is only like the ads for a few hours, then it becomes a city builder/war game. It's OK, I played it longer than I thought I would. Finding a strong aliance to join is key. If not, You'll constantly be pillaged by the stronger alliances in your state, causing you to lose the resources you need to get stronger and help fend off the attacks. It's a vicious circle. Season 2 sucks so far. I recommend quiting beforehand and to not spend too much money during season 1, it's not worth it. Edited
