This app is great for so many tasks. Of course it doesn't transfer data to/from my phone/tablet over WiFi to my PC as quickly as connecting a USB-C cable. But if I don't want to get out of bed to connect a cable it's very convenient. I also like the mirroring and 2-way notepad features. Especially since my wall mounted TV/PC monitor can be rotated to portrait orientation. Gives me a 40" phone screen. One of Samsung's very few useful apps compared to their countless uninstallable bloatware apps. Edited

When it works, it's pretty good. Screen mirroring works well. But the fact that I have to unlock my phone and open the app every time to use it makes it much less than convenient. The fact that it doesn't allow me to initiate text messages from the PC side without unlocking the phone for screen mirroring is silly. The fact that sometimes it just doesn't connect despite jumping through all those hoops gives it ⭐⭐. If I'm going to do all that, I'll just continue to use scrcpy with a USB cable. Edited

Everything is perfect except I am unable to remove the Flow notification icon from the top of the phone. This is extremely annoying and is not the level of professional software development I expect from a company like Samsung. Extremely disappointing, as it turns an excellent app into a mediocre app. I think we had a misunderstanding, I was referring to the icon being present when not connected to the PC. When pulling down the notifications, it can only be closed using the dropdown box there. Every other app on my phone closes when I select "close all" EXCEPT this one. That is my complaint Edited

Hello, Kurt H
To support automatic connections, SamsungFlow need to work in the background, and apps running in the background should have OnGoing Notification. This is Google's policy.
If SamsungFlow do not use Ongoing Notification, SamsungFlow can not guarantee to work in the background.
Thanks.

I 💙 Samsung, but... UPDATE: If you have the newest devices of Samsung, this app is GREAT, but it's still disappointing that it's not backward compatible so I will leave it at a low rating. ORIGINAL: I installed 'flow' on my S9 phone because Samsung doesn't support 'sidesync' which I have on my Tab S, which is not compatible with my phone. Guess what, 'flow' is not compatible with my tablet ... ridiculous! If Samsung decides to add support to all their smart devices, I will change my rating. Edited

Hello, Patrick J. Carpenter
Sorry for your inconvenience. Android application cannot use USB connection to communicate with PC aaplication from S9. Flow team is considering other communication channel.
Thanks
