AWFUL. My pre-schooler LOVED this, but it quit working and said it needed an update. It would not install the update, even though there was ample storage. I was then advised to uninstall and reinstall the app. Going on a month now, and it still won't download. I don't have a janky phone either- not that it should matter, but I have a Samsung Galaxy S21, so it's not even like it's outdated or can't handle the load. My girl has been absolutely heartbroken that Elmo doesn't call her anymore.

Purchased the pack for set calls/alarms. When the set time comes the phone says "it's Elmo calling" once and then when we get into the app nothing happens. There is no call about brushing teeth or getting ready for bed as I have set. Also the timers then reset after each one passes, so even it is did work you would have to set it up each day which could be quite frustrating.

Overall good but one annoying bug has persisted for years. The screen does not stay on while the calls are playing back. Most apps that play video will prevent the screen from sleeping but not this app. I have to consistently tap the screen to keep it awake or else playback stops. Feels like it could be an easy fix...

My child loves Elmo and loves the video calls! Definitely worth paying a little extra for more calls. I do wish the end call button could have a setting to toggle on and off from the call screen. That way small kids don't hang up right away as they tend to hold phones from the bottom and their thumbs hang up the calls easily.

My kid loves this app and Elmo. I therefore bought all the extra movies. My annoyance is with the quality of these video's. Who edited these and why can't they do their job properly? In most of the videos Elmo is floating above the scenery or above black bars. He never seems to be in line with the scenery. Makes for ugly viewing. It could also be a technical issue with my particular phone. If so, some extra video settings would not be a bad idea. I just think it is sloppy work for a paid app. Edited
