All I wanted was an app that would give me a notification when the temperature was going to drop below freezing so that I would leave a faucet dripping. Never got that notification. Instead I got a notice from my phone warning me the app was frequently crashing and to put it into deep sleep. It has some good uses but not what I was looking for and worries me that it's crashing in the background so often that my phone would warn me about it. Edited

What an incredibly useful, straight-to-the-point app! Does exactly what I need it to, and perfectly! Fully customizable notification categories, the ability to customize which types of alerts fall into which category, real-time alerts as they're posted by the NWS, and zero branding, clean notifications. So far it seems to work well enough. I wish it had a better help menu, I can see its minimal - but I have no idea what - Ripple effect is or does. I like the radar but it didn't show my county. I don't know what county that was for, but it wasn't mine, it was the wrong shape. Having the radar is nice, but I wish it was simply a feature I could use. I like the soft colored background, its better than the start black and white other apps use. I would love to have a boil water alert on this. I only have one other program that does that, I like to have back up. Also i'd like to know what town its reporting on. While it says current location, I may be on a trip and I may not know what town i'm in, if this updated when it connected to a wifi point, I may not know what area this was covering. Just give me a town, and a time of when it last updated so I know how fresh it is.

I got this app to get an early warning for severe weather conditions and it performs this task well. I would have given it five stars but there is an issue that I have with it. I'm not sure if it is a problem with the app or my phone, though. I paid for the Pro version subscription so that I can monitor a few locations at the same time. The problem I'm having that every once in a while the locations that I have set up disappear and only the current location is monitored.

So far so good. I was really frustrated with weather apps or even wireless emergency alerts not consistently warning me about tornado warnings and watches. I tested out a couple apps from The Red Cross, but this one seems to work for what I need. I like how I can see what kinds of alerts do what kind of behavior, how I can set the alert tones, can override do not disturb, and can send test alerts. Thank you to the developer! I hope this app can keep working a good long while. Edited
