The best mobile game there is. I have been playing shattered pixel on and off for over a decade. Usually I play it when I'm waiting somewhere and need to kill some time. It's never had ads. The developer frequently updates the game and always keeps it fresh. Since I started playing he's added a ton of new features and a few new characters. And, this is sad but I've never managed to beat the game (yet), the closest I've gotten is level 24. The game is also on Steam!

Shadow

Overhaul gameplay is very addictive, good time killer, and the different concepts is very entertaining. One thing I would like to see in the future is an infinite mode with a harder difficulty with infinite floors; or a custom mode where you design your own hero class based upon the basic 5 classes. (Probably not like customizing a completely different hero. But for example: appearance of the rogue, the huntress' bow as a starting equipment, and the skill upgrades of the warrior.)

Hands down this is the BEST dungeon crawler EVER. The puzzles are simple, every level has all of the solutions. The bosses stay the same but are challenging nonetheless. The hardest part to get past is the beginning, mainly because you will die a lot. But take heart adventurer, you will learn the game, and you will succeed! Just take the time to find the game mechanics and then it will become SO much easier.

Hermishmer

I've been playing different variations of Pixel Dungeon for years and this is by far the most fleshed out and true to the original vision of the game. There are no ads, there's no pay to win items, nothing like that. It is a truly free game, with no strings attached, and its truly a great game too. Perfect dungeon crawler to pick up and play for a few minutes, with tons of content to explore. The game is still regularly updated too! Well worth supporting. Edit: Still good, support the Dev! A very fun, albeit sometimes difficult game(not a bad thing!) There are no microtransactions, very few to no bugs, easy to get into, but a lot of things to learn to master, which I personally enjoy. Overall, a great fantasy turn based pixel rpg that is a lot more than an idle button pusher.
