This does work however it needs to be constant because it winds up and then slows down and it loops like that causing it to not create enough wind to blow out a candle. I can see wind hitting the candle trying to blow it out but there needs to be some adjustments to allowed it to stay at a constant speed or sound.. and I don't know what's up with the bad reviews people just don't know how things work I guess Edited

It just uses your earphone speaker to blow air. Only sound of high pitch is coming out of lower main speaker of the phone
