Pretty good overall. I have not experienced the load time or stability issues that other players report. When you select a Cure spell, for example, from your list of spells in battle, it does not show you a screen that lists the health of your party members. You have to know who needs heals in battle before selecting to heal party members. Also, and this may be my imagination, was Yang nerfed in to obscurity? I remember Kick being so much better than it is in this version.

Faithful remake of the original... at least the last version I played (FF 2 on the SNES). I did find it much easier to level up, so by the end I was a lot stronger than I ever was when I played it on the SNES. Plus I got two rare drops, which I never got on the SNES relatively quickly. I also enjoyed thr music but was also wishing for the original score. If you have 20-30 hours to kill, and you like old school FF, this is hard to beat

Wow! This is the best small screen adaptation! Tap-to-move instead of laborious scroll- YES! The music is beautiful, and sounds somehow just like, yet better than, the original. The graphics are simple fun. I had forgotten how much color was a factor in the days before increased resolution. It's sweet to see those little pixel guys save the world. It is a joy to play- the time in game has flown by. So great! Thank you for the fun hours I am about to have!!

Excellent DS port of final fantasy 4 it does need to use a stylus pen though in order to tap on the screen so you can directly and it won't automatically go through any secret passages when you tap on the screen to move the character though so use a touch screen controller or a real Xbox controller in order to play this game for now until they fix this bug. Hopefully in the future we will see more remasters of the 16-bit era for mobile and PC with these new custom CPUs for phones on the way.

This is an incredible remaster, the graphics are just lovely and faithful to it's original, animations are very smooth as well. This was the first Final Fantasy that I played and it holds a special place in my heart. Music, I love that its remastered and it feels more authentic for a fantasy adventure, although I'm stubborn, I still love the original soundtrack and would love for that to be patched in as an update as well as an option. Biggest concern is the text, please make that bigger... Edited
