I was looking for a replacement for Keep Notes with biometric security. This is it! It's fair to say that from my admittedly brief use it has few unnecessary bells and whistles, and does a remarkable job with all notes saved exclusively on the device. Synchronization across devices can be easily done by transferring the backup file from one to the other, and restoring to the second device. My Lenovo Pad P12 fingerprint reader is useless. Face recognition is normally good, but isn't a choice☹️ Edited

Really nice open-source notes app with support for checklists. Developer is very open to feedback, and is currently very actively adding features with frequent updates. I had been using ColorNote for long without any problem. But when I recently realized that it does not support notes longer than 1,50,000 characters, I was searching for an alternative notes app. SNotz is one of those apps that does not seem to have such a limitation and is still fast enough with such long notes. Can't beat "Fast Notepad" which is available here in the Google Play store but for others it might satisfy. Fast Notepad auto save feature, allowing Share with other apps and email makes it my Go-to. Check sNotez for yourself and if you want compare it to Fast Notepad and make up your own mind.

sNotz also offer an auto-save mode, exporting, sharing notes, etc. Don't know how it's comparably with the mentioned app, that I never used personally.

I saved very large texts in snotz. from one text i want to find a word without scrolling and checking whole text, with help of "find in text search option" please provide this option. i also opened this issue on github.

Really liked the app, If there is a option to Hide and unhide a notes by long pressing + icon add note icon, it would be more fun and it should also ask for a 4 digit key before unhiding notes
