honesty, this is an overall really good and fun game. one minor problem is that some of the record challenges are increasingly difficult for a lot of people, such as "defeat every single other brawler in a single match of solo showdown." Plus, star drops are totally taking over the game because with masteries, you had guaranteed power points, coins, and credits, and now all the rewards are just Starr drops, and a mythic star drop(which is supposed to be good) usually just gets me a common pin. I've been playing this game for years now, and it's been great fun. You can get some of the best characters early on for nothing but play time. There is a marked increase in "bot like" behaviour, where players either don't move, or run to a corner/wall and shoot in a single direction. This is becoming quite a problem now, spoiling a lot of games. Several of my clan have quit, stating on discord that this is one of their main frustrations with "Bad Randoms". Edited

The June 2025 update has made a very fun game a hollow experience. Most in-game in-game progression is locked behind a paywall, and a ridiculous amount of rewards come in the form of randomized 'Starr Drops' that most often provide the user with little of substance. I didn't mind paying a small monthly fee to make the game fun, but now even the monthly pass does little to boost the experience. Hoping they fix this soon otherwise it will be an easy delete.

the recent change on mastery is one of the single worst decisions ever in my opinion. mastery was one of the main ways for a f2p player like me to progress. and now we just have small rewards from a ton of wins. With how it's made, I will never be able to unlock enough credits to unlock new characters. This is one of the worst updates from my time of playing this game. Edited

Used to Be Great, Now a Disappointment I started playing this game two years ago, and it used to be a lot of fun. However, with the recent update that added records and removed the mastery system, the game has shifted towards a "pay-to-enjoy" model. It no longer feels rewarding or balanced, and that has really taken the fun out of it for me. I've lost interest and will be looking for something else to play. It's honestly sad to see what the game has become. 😞😞. Edited
