Great app! Worked right first time. Intuitive and backed up with excellent Help. Now I can go to my bathroom, and back, without two manual interventions on my phone! And the price is a bargain. Thanks, Alexander! ‐‐‐-----------------' It's two years later now and I have a new Samsung F21 5G. It doesn't switch automatically. I install SmartWiFi and ... nothing. Doesn't switch between WiFis. I'm pretty default settings, it's Enabled. Nothing. Manual switching works fine. So, now what? Help! Edited

Downloaded the free version which seemed to work well. Upgraded to the "paid" version which seemed to work well for couple of weeks. Now the app stops with no indication or warning. I have to manualy restart it after discovering it had stopped due to not switching wifi connections. Also when it is running, the current connection drops while scanning. Very annoying. Removing the app and moving on. Chock this one up to experience, at least it was mot too expensive but still not worth paying for.

When the service stops it's almost always caused by battery management. I'm not sure what exactly you mean by the other problem. When you send a detailed error report to
[email protected], the porblems probably could be solved. There are other users with Galaxy who gave 5 stars.
In case it really doesn't work, I also would grant refund.

Very useful and I strongly recommend it. As I have two networks in two different floors I need a quick automatic switch to the best signal. The app does it perfectly. Edit: I had service restarts after installling the paid version. The developer's diagnosis was correct, I needed to the set the battery optimization for the app to UNRESTRICTED. I believe after Samsung's last Android update it was reset. Or I missed it. So double check this setting if you see service restarts. Thanks! Edited

Very likely you have missed some setting. Did you set battery to unrestricted? I'm permanently testing the app on Galaxy A22 (Android 12) and the service virtually NEVER gets killed.

Works very well, one complaint. I use a $1,000 MESH unit with 3 hubs at 1. 2 gig up and down. In order for it to work correctly, 5G and 2.4G network signals all need to be the same SSID. If I add that SSID but select "prefer 5G" (which I want), it will not list or connect to 2.4 bands if the 5G is too week. As we all should know, while 5G are capable of 1 gig speeds and 2.4 is not, the 2.4 bands have stronger signals. This option is not available or they don't explain it. Edited

Outstanding app. I have used this for about a year with little to no issue. There are times when you will need to turn it off. Like setting up a wifi connected smart device but other than that it's really awesome. I work at a facility that covers 10 acres with many indoor and outdoor wifi APs. This app solved all the poor wifi connection issues I was having with my phone. I highly recommend it.
