Very disappointed. After playing 39 of the developer's other, obviously British-leaning, crossword puzzles, I was excited to read they had a US version. I can honestly say they put far less effort into it. "US" game does not tell how many words are in an answer, other version does. There are odd clues/answers. E.g., I have never seen "cafeteria food" defined as "glop;" there are a few questionable examples just in the first puzzle but not enough characters allowed by Google to list. Edited

This is a really good crossword. It's pretty easy to figure out, the clues are culturally appropriate for standard American English, and you can get as little or as much help from the app as you want. There are no ads, no system of winning coins to buy from the play store, etc. Just plain simple game. I don't know yet if there are harder levels...probably, I just haven't researched it yet. I'd say it starts out at a medium level.

I completed several puzzles even though the interface is quite clunky. But I thought this was supposed to be a puzzle using American terminology. Most of the words are not even words that Americans use. Almost everything is either British or Australian. For example a Ute is an Australian term for a car/pickup hybrid. It is not a term that Americans use at all.

Easy to navigate, and I like being able to select the letters easily. My hands are clumsy and fat fingertips, other crosswords have been a bad experience when I can't even select a square.. I also appreciate the many variaties of puzzles to choose from.. Excellent job guys....👍

Wonderful passtime with no pen or pencil needed. Fun way to learn new words. App has been improved so the user interface is really great. I'm still enjoying the app after several years. i have it on my phone and my tablet.
