This app used to work perfectly for multiple years. But at the beginning of 2025, either because of the update for the app, android, or Roku, it no longer works. All of the settings, on all of the devices involved will not enable it to connect. I'm changing my original 5 stars to one because the problem has persisted for over a month now.

I used to have no problem with casting to my Roku tv and on another TV with a firestick...but now, nothing but trouble. Very frustrating!!! Please do not tell me to update my devices for I have troubleshot to no avail. Allscreen will randomly detect my devices then they will randomly disappear. I've grown exhausted trying to get this to work like it's supposed to and like it used to to no avail. I believe I will be deleting the app!!! Edited

In Roku make sure that
Settings ＞ System ＞ Advanced System Settings ＞ Control by mobile device ＞ network access is enabled

It does let you cast pics & videos from your phone or tablet & has no problem connecting. That being said the quality of your audio & video is poor @ best. Lots of pixelation & videos don't play straight through. It's like they have to buffer or something, screen goes black & it you wait around long enough it'll start playing again. Audio isn't as bad as video but it does leave something to be desired.

Dude... Finally I find an app that lets me cast off of my ethernet-only android box. the thing has no wifi radio, and no other cast apps work with it. (because the apps think the wifi is switched off) this will tell you the wifi is off, but clients will still show up when pressing the cast button. EDIT - Its just like the rest of them, it connects but doesnt cast anything. had to change to 1-star. Edited

Worked great..... for a while. I had about a week of consistent use, sometimes just having to wait for 20sec, or trying twice to find the video (I used this for pirate websites) but eventually found it, and overall was working well. Then after about 2 weeks of not using it it just won't work. "Cannot find media" is the error it keeps showing. Multiple websites, all working previously, with no luck. Tried restarting app and even redownloading
