This seems useless. The app icon and screenshots are not the same as in the description, they must be out of date. The app instructions from the website don't help. You can't access the app unless the device is on and recording, then you switch on its WiFi, which the phone picks up. You then get an error message saying it can't connect to the internet, do you want to keep the connection or switch to another connection. You can't access any of the functions in the menu and file browser is absent.

*Edit to follow below. Uninstalled and not used. Description states "no data collected" but when starting the app first time you must agree to "location recording". This appears ambiguous and (possibly deceptive?) Is this permission for the product or phone? *EDIT - product not used on wifi upgraded to 4 stars. Good camera. Edited

On Android, Bluetooth scanning was tied to the broader location permission.
Even if an app only scanned for Bluetooth devices and didn't use location data directly, it still needed the location permission.

Everything worked great for years. Now since the January update to 5.16 I'm no longer able to connect the app to my Drivepro Body 60. Formated the unit using Drive toolbox and reinstalled app but still can't connect Update- I had to roll back to the previos version of 5.15 and everything is functioning now. Edited

A recent app update has made it so that my device is no longer detected by the app. My Bluetooth and WiFi settings are fine. Prior negative experiences with Transcend customer support means that I won't bother wasting my time trying to get their help.

This app bypasses the bodycam password! This is a major security issue. If you set a password in the drivepro body toolbox, it prevents the camera footage from being accessed without knowing the password. But with this app, you don't need to enter the password, meaning anyone who steals the camera can access the footage without knowing the password.
