I adore this app. As someone with visual snow syndrome, I've tried all kinds of screen filters and dimmers, and this one is my favorite by far. One of the things that aggravated me most about other ones is having to go into the app and manually turn everything off to take a screenshot without the color being heavily altered, but this one has a built in pause and screenshot function accessible from the notifications bar!

okay, hands down, best blue light filter I've ever had. it's easy to use, you can adjust the colour/temperature, brightness, and intensity. hardly any ads, slowly adjusts so you don't just suddenly have a red screen lol. i love it, and I'd definitely get the paid option if I could, but it's amazing even without it. and best of all it doesn't randomly stop and filters notifications too. :) 10/10 edit: as of july 2025, my review still remains the same. just wish i could use it on desktop too lol Edited

What happened to this app??? I LOVED IT. Could not live without it. Suddenly it doesnt work properly. Shuts itself off randomly and blasts my eyes with blue light at the worst times. I already have accessibility permissions on. The settings themselves are overly complicated, but I swear it wasnt like this before. Perhaps an update happened. Dropping my rating from 5 stars to two Edited

Hello, if the filter is not launching when scheduled, or it keeps disappearing, make sure the app is not restricted by the system on your phone (https://dontkillmyapp.com/). Please contact us at [email protected] for further assistance or help. Thank you and sorry for the troubles.

Pretty much what you expect. I love the red tint, as my eyes no longer throb after using my phone for an hour or so. With that said, do be aware that your eyes will become accustomed to the filter, making you sensitive to other sources of light. Also, the screen dim just ads black to the filter, it does not do anything with the backlight. I personally don't think it helps much with sleep, but that's just me. The devs also actually respond to reviews. Edited

Hello, Google removed the access to the wallpaper folder, so there is nothing we can fix on our side. We are trying to negotiate an exception for our app, but the Google team thinks, no app needs access to the current wallpaper storage location... We are sorry for the limitation.

great, compact little app. been using it for years. really helpful when I want to wind down for the night by playing a little sudoku and i need a dim screen. it's very easy to customize how much color filtering you want. I wish it were easier to turn off twilight manually when I forget to turn off the filter when I'm out and about in the morning.
