This does work, and the app looks slick, but it's very slow and flaky in use. It usually takes multiple tries and a long wait to connect, recognise the vehicle (this didn't work at all recently, you had to enter the VIN manually and it didn't remember it for next time), and to perform the scan. 20 mins to do a 2 min job. Given that anything other than clearing errors seems to be paid I wish I'd gone for something simpler, cheaper, and more reliable.

I don't have a real problem with the app itself it's the billing process that I updated my software and it registered four debits to my card for one purchase and I don't know whether I can get my money back or not. otherwise this is a wonderful investment no matter what you driving. ❤️

since updates it is useless and won't connect. Don't waste your money! In response to your message, I've done that and the old version of the software was much more reliable. I was using it for years without a problem. Edited

won't connect the old car over k line, Can't work without internet ....? Can't be compared to vcds from my point. Expensive what offer... So, when there is no internet, my car stops and can use this useless tool for what, ? Edited

Our newer app focuses on a broader range of supported vehicles, relying on the CAN-bus protocol for its connectivity, hence most cars made prior to 2008 won't get the full service that we offer for our supported models. Our VAG app though, caters to older K Line VAG models. Both of which need access to our cloud database for their features.

Will not get past the authentication phase, just sits there... No issue with the VAG version. EDIT: In repsonse to OBDeleven, I bought the hardware, it should be functional without an Internet connection. This thing is useless! Edited
