The 5 shortcuts work like invisible buttons. You put a hidden link to your favourite widget. For example: When you open the customization menu, go to Complications (unfortunately Wear OS shows all in the same color). Click at the Time area. It opens a list of possible functions you can link there. Set "Spotify". Leave customization.
