I have eliminated the hardcopy newspaper from my life because of its expense, which is tragic in my mind. The loss of local reporters and scaling back of longtime features, especially the Op/Ed page is also a terrible loss to the community. I don't mind using the electronic version of the BN, but it's very frustrating to use and needs some housekeeping of its ease of use features. Many of the little triangle links need to be more accurate in opening items. Section links would be useful too.

Who designed this for Android? Search text is dark grey on black background. You cannot read the results. Search itself is not good, pulling old results before today's news - if it finds today at all. Scrolling stories it's black text on a black gradient and you can only see half of the top sentence describing the article. You have to click each article to see what it's about. Total junk app and a waste of time. My family pays money for this? Garbage. Edited

since delivery became ridiculously expensive and undependable, I bought a tablet and transitioned to the print version on the app. Completely used to it now. Also I would like to add that we are saving tons of single use newsprint paper so that alone would make it worthwhile. The only problem I have is sometimes if I get up to get another cup of coffee it asks me to sign in again. Edited

Horrible, horrible app. On my Android phone, it says I'm logged in but won't let me access the articles. Tried all the obvious solutions, delete, reload, with no luck. On my Android tablet, the sections come up only as pictures with no captions. The e-edition is blank. No option there cause it's completely unavailable to me. Customer service is foreign and after 15 minutes with them, got hung up on. Nothing ever got resolved. My options are to use the website or cancel my subscription.

Fails to open. Frustrating is an understatement. Times are tough for everyone and it's a wonderful and selfless move by the Buffalo News to share the covid-19 info for free with everyone. The only problem is that if the app won't open what good is free content? I'm just a sucker who actually pays for a subscription for an app that won't open. I would rate negative 2 stars given the opportunity. Edited
