I enjoy reading the Post Dispatch and always have. However I do miss the daily printed paper on actual paper. I'm probably old fashion but I do miss spreading the paper out in the morning and indulging in it with a cup of coffee nearby. Recently it was announced that the monthly subscription was increasing by ten dollars and while I know that costs go up I think a ten dollar increase to forty dollars is too much too fast. Therefore I will be most probably canceling my subscription.

It Keeps Getting Worse! For about 2 months now there are some stories that will play the video from another story while you are trying to read the story you want! It's so distracting and you never know which story will start a video story. Also, within the past month, the main page just keeps scrolling through the same articles over and over. Add to that this apps tendency to freeze or crash on whim and it's enough to drive this St. Louisan "Loupy!" Please fix it!

WAY OVERRUN WITH ADS! Hard to get to any news because the ads come at you fast and hard, run on forever and often will not allow you to exit the offending site at all! You just HAD to max out every possible second of ads, didn't you, to the point where the app is uninstalled. Horrible abuse of readers awaits those who download this app, and it's a shame, too. It could have been a popular one-stop news source for St. Louis.

I understand your frustration; however, Ad revenue is a major source of revenue for newspaper outlets.

Wish I could give it less than 1 star. The app was flawed before, it's worse now. Difficult to read because of background pictures, limited content, huge ads that take up half the screen, after reading an article in a chosen section going back takes you back to the main screen instead of the section, no more comments, and content is slow to update. Developers are fairly unresponsive. If you haven't updated, don't do it. Wish I hadn't.

As of 8/30/21, this app loads a full screen ad after about one minute. The ad cannot be cleared, despite displaying a Close button. Makes the app useless. As of 5/9/22, it seems to be fixed. In between the two dates I have no idea. I gave up on trying to use it. Note to P-D:. You get no revenue if no one uses the app. Edited
