It's a good rhythm game with an interesting and creative gameplay. It's fun and challenging at the same time. But there's a bug where when you retry, the rotation feature just locks at one place. Even if you try to rotate the device, the game won't reflect what you do. Please fix this, as it ruins the experience and immersion. I don't know if this is a problem only on certain devices, just mine, or in general, but I hope that it'd be fixed soon.

Rewriting this review. Rotaeno's music selection has gotten bland. The new charts are no longer fun. There's just massive spam of the blue notes and it's incredibly difficult to read especially when you have to move the screen around, not to mention physically hard to achieve without injuring yourself (do they expect me to grow a second thumb? Why are the notes so unfairly dense???). This game has stopped being fun and started being a chore. Whoever you fired for the charts, bring them back. Edited

My favorite rhythm game from a gameplay standpoint! The charts are fun and satisfying, and the skill floor/ceiling is very good. I enjoy all the extra challenges and events as well. My only gripe is how much is behind a paywall(a majority of the songs), but you can still get a pretty good experience without paying more than the initial app price. Overall, a very good game I've been playing consistently for the 2 years since launch.

EDIT: 6/8/24 This game was enjoyable, but I have since begun having stuttering and framerate issues during gameplay. This makes it difficult to perform well, and impacts my ability to enjoy the game. Even after a reinstall (and a complete factory reset, though that was unrelated), I am still having errors. I use a Pixel 7 Pro, running a public release of Android 14. I did not have these issues in the past, even with this same device. A friend with a 7 pro as well is also not affected. Edited

This is a fantastic, fun, and challenging game. I will play it for a long time to come. Here are my complaints: - Miles and Badges max out which actually discourages you from playing the game once you clear the story even though you have a ton left to do. - Game stutters sometimes on Galaxy S23 which is very bad for a rhythm game. Has ruined my FC many times. Most of the time is fine though. And that's it :) great game, I highly recommend to any fan of rhythm games. One of my favorites easily. Edited
