I've been using this as a pdf reader. Everything else is locked behind a paywall. Horizontal paging is the only thing that makes it stand out. In practice there aren't any unpaid features. It can't differentiate between a successful action and unsuccessful action so your very limited, free allotment will be used up during the process of discovery. It's the first time in a while I tried to create/edit a pdf from scratch and I couldn't do it successfully. Edited

no indication that it requires payment before downloading and it costs as much as hulu Reply: I would have no problem buying the service if I needed more than just a simple action, to delete and edit the text of a pdf file. Nothing more. I'm sure for more commercial use it would be useful to purchase, but theres not much of a practical use for the trial version Edited

Xodo now seems to require all files access. It contradicts itself because it says "Starting with Android 11, Xodo's file browsers will REQUIRE access to local files in order to display them." Then it says, "Access is NOT REQUIRED to view and edit files shared to Xodo and you can continue opening files using the System Picker." AI says "It's accessed through the + button on the Home page, followed by "Open file"." I don't see a "+" button at all. Now I get a 0.1 error on all. Can't open anything! Edited

I've used this on my phone for years. I used the free version for mamy years and glad to pay a little for Pro now. It's been absolutely seamless this whole time. It's one of those apps you mever have to think about which means it's a great app. Good apps.get.out of the way of the function. The desktop version has improved a lot though I usually hse a different one. The phone app is top notch. Hopefully the proces don't imcrease too much. As long as its not too high, I'm glad not to use Adobe.

Was an awesome app to use for reading. Now the basic actions are locked behind a subscription payment. like even the export option for just sharing a file ( not edited) is locked. I don't know what's going on but if there was a reasonable one time payment in order to support the dev would be ok but with such expensive pricings I don't recommend this app for new users.
