Fantastic App for watching ZDF TV programmes. It has the usual favourites, currently watching, continue watching. functionality you would expect. Great programme choice, and professional independent unbiased news reporting. Edited

I used to like the ZDF Mediathek App. However they applied some changes recently, and since then the "Untertitel" functionality does not work or it simply does not appear to any program. It was a very good functionality for me and many others who like the ZDF content and use it to learn a bit of German. If they fix this, I will definitely change my review. Edited

Streaming doesn't work. Starts, then stops, at times there's a message saying something went wrong. May the lightning strike the old folks at ZDF who want to be hipper than everyone else. (ARD's app works just fine, so it isn't my phone that has issues).

German TV App, let's you watch German programing, sports and documentaries. It works well for the most part, however the menu is not the most user-friendly. The age verification is impossible with documents from outside of Europe. ZDF should take the ARD mediathek as an example of easy age verification. Overall this App is good though.

ZDF it’s an absolutely Great App available for Android TV and I use it everyday to improve my German language, but in the latest version of ZDF App something wrong or it’s a bug or they forgot to release the Options button. I don’t have the Option for Subtitles ? Please fix the issue to return Subtitles in German language.
