Free Version Good, Paid Version Bad. I purchased the paid version so I could save games when I didn't have the time to finish them. However, that feature does not work. I just noticed that 2 others who purchased the paid version this year also left reviews about the problem, with no response from the developers. I will be requesting a refund.

Overall, I have had very good luck playing games with this emulator. Nearly all of the games I tried work just fine; some that don't work could be due to hack updates (e.g., to get infinite lives). I use a game controller, and the emulator worked without the need to remap. My only issue is that I cannot get the digital gamepad to work properly; the emulator only works with the analog stick. The developer responded to my request for help and attempted to fix it, which is appreciated.

best mobile c64 emulator I've found so far, but still not perfect. imo I'd like at least the option to see the whole border rather than just parts of it, and I'd like if inserting a disk without loading a file into memory was better supported. additionally, the keyboard makes it impossible to use the C= or Ctrl keys, or to use the Run/Stop + Restore shortcut. Loading downloaded games seems not too work very well. I do have an issue for the developer. I have a game that uses memory address 653 to detect the status of the shift key so shift+joystick (port 2) performs a different function than joystick alone. It works on vice and on a real c64, but this emulator doesn't seem to handle shift in the same way. Just in case someone wants to look into it.

Thanks for the hint. I will have a look at the shift key issue.

Builtin .zip-archives cannot be opened (io-stream-exceptions). Explorer (Attach disk image) doesn't list any local stored .prg/d64-files, even not after refreshing. Reinstalling the app did not solve the problems. Update 2021-06-09: .prg/d64-files got recognized when moved to the Internal storage. Re/moved the files afterwards but then they still show up in the list and cannot be opened (file not found), even after refreshing the list; at least stopping the app fixed that. Edited

Can you try to move your C64 image files into another directory, e.g. the internal download directory? Especially access to the external SD card is sometimes tricky.
